Honor the game's Scottish birth. Bagpipes played at the players assemble,
register, warm up and start off put them in a festive mood, and they'll
remember your tournament for a long time. I get lots of 'thumbs up' as the
carts pass me at the shotgun starts.

Whether for a 'Kirking of the Tartans' ceremony, an ordination, a feast
day or other special event, bagpipes can make your service even more
memorable.
Demonstrations
Looking for something different to present to your group? How about a
mini-concert on the bagpipes, with discussion of the origin of the
instrument, the different types of bagpipes, and the significance of a
piper's uniform. I've presented this program at preschools, elementary
schools, school arts programs, after school programs, scout camps and senior
centers. The groups just love it. The amount of detail presented is always customized to fit the age group and time slot.
